Dr. Aysam AKSES, after being graduated from Iskenderun Istiklal Makzume Anatolian High School, had completed his Bachelors in Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Electrical Engineering section. He had his M.Sc. degree at the same university in Electrical Engineering in 2001, and then succesfully completed his Ph.D. in 2006 at ITU, and became a “Doctor of Philosophy” in Electrical Engineering. Besides the academical degrees he owns on Electrical Engineering, he also holds BSc. diploma from Istanbul University Business Administration.

From 1999 to 2012, he had worked at TUBITAK, as R&D Manager and directed many projects as Project Manager.

TUBITAK, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, is the most respected and prestigious governmental institution of Turkey, which is directly under the Prime Ministry. UEKAE, National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology, is an institute of TUBITAK, where advanced studies, works and projects on Information Security, Telecommunication, Cryptology, Semiconductor Technologies, Opto-Electronic etc. are being developed. The software and hardware products of the projects are widely used in Turkish Armed Forces, Ministries, Security General Directorate, NATO and many private sector companies.

Dr. Akses, is professionally interested in R&D, Technology Management, Test & Quality Management, Information Security, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), TEMPEST (Electromagnetic Security of IT equipment), Advanced Electronics, High Voltage Technique. He has managed many projects on his fields of interest, founded teams and departments and also led many conferences, seminars and meetings besides the consultancies and trainings he had given.

Since February 2012, he has been working at ENTES Elektronik A.S., as Quality, Test and Certification Director. Besides, since 2017, he is conducting the Technical Coordinator position at ENTPA Elektronik for production, R&D and Quality&Test.

Dr. Akses is a Lecturer at Istanbul Kultur University and Istanbul Gedik University and giving Technology Management, R&D Management courses for graduate, Management for Engineers, Electromagnetic Compatibility courses for undergraduate students.

Dr. Aysam Akses was born in Iskenderun, and can speak Turkish as mother language, English advanced, German-Italian-Arabic languages at moderate/beginner level.
